Is Operations Research (OR) useful to me?
The course Optimization and Simulation for Business at UC3M is an introductory course to Optimization. As a student, you will learn how to identify and model decision making-problems. In addition, you will be able to solve them using Excel (or a similar software with an optimization toolbox).
The course webpage has a post with some interesting case studies. Most of the examples come from USA, but some of them come from companies based in Spain (Iberia and Zara, for example).
